The Owen Sound Tower began broadcasting on April 10, 2002 this follows the broadcast start of the downtown Owen Sound Tower in July of 2001.

     DataStore's Owen Sound location houses the main server network, all 56K dialup equipment and a wireless internet base station capable of handling 3,072 wireless internet customers.  All internet activity starts form here. The server location in Owen Sound however handles all traffic for authentication, e-mail and web hosting.  Connected to the internet through fibre optic, this location supports some of the fastest 56K connectivity in the world.  Although this location has been broadcasting high speed wireless internet since July 2001, DataStore has only been able to service the downtown area.  As of January 30, 2002.  DataStore has received all the required licenses and permits from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the City of Owen Sound, The Niagara Escarpment Commission, Alvarion Inc. and Trylon TSF, to erect a 100' communication tower at the south-east end of the City of Owen Sound. The completion of this tower will extend DataStore's wireless internet service to a 30 kilometer radius around the city and it will link the towers in Springmount, Wiarton, Mar, Lion's Head, Tobermory, Hanover and Listowel.  Known as:
